"The plan dated May 22, 2025 is a document which will become part of the Hasbrouck Heights Master Plan required by the Municipal Land Use Law," Board Planner Edward Sniekus said during the presentation. There was no public comment in favor or opposition. A motion to approve the plan was offered by Albert Cupo and seconded by Vincent Risalvato; the roll call recorded unanimous support from those voting and the resolution was adopted.
The board and planner emphasized the need to complete adoption ahead of the June 30, 2025 timeframe set out as part of the Fair Share Housing Act revisions mentioned in the presentation.
