Board approves consent agenda, appoints parent members to school library advisory council and recognizes early graduate

On a motion by Trustee Karen Laughlin with a second by Trustee Jason Barcak, the board approved the consent agenda that included minutes from prior meetings, appointments to the School Health Advisory Committee for 2025–2026, district and campus performance objectives, an addendum to a memorandum of understanding with Temple College Workforce Development Division, and recognition of Adam Aboytes as a 2026 early graduate. The motion carried 7‑0.
Separately, Trustee Barcak moved and Trustee Amy Casas seconded approval of parents named to the Rockdale ISD School Library Advisory Council (Mahialani Cain, Melissa Delozier, Marisa Harris, Monica Harrison, Veronica Rivera, Deborah Seelke, Keari Spence, and Christine Timpe) consistent with district policy EFB (LOCAL) and TEA requirements; that motion also carried 7‑0.
