Rockport‑Fulton Independent School District trustees met for a special strategic planning workshop on Oct. 14, 2025. President Kenny Cruzan called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM and the board recessed for dinner before reconvening at 5:53 PM for the presentation and roundtable sessions.
Superintendent Dr. Lesley Austin opened the workshop by reviewing the district's current status and the four strategic priorities labeled Priorities 1–4. The district's executive leadership team facilitated rotating roundtable discussions in which trustees reviewed objectives and proposed metrics for implementation. The minutes record that "There were no public comments." Trustee Jack Vogel left the meeting at 8:10 PM, and President Cruzan adjourned the meeting at 8:11 PM.
