Board waives facility fees for PBA fundraiser and Daughters of Sarah tea

The board voted unanimously to waive fees and allow the Marlborough PBA to use the Community Center on April 26 and the nonprofit Daughters of Sarah to use the Train Station on May 10 for fundraisers.
Supervisor Corcoran read two facility-use requests during the correspondence portion of the March 24 meeting. The Town of Marlborough PBA requested use of the Community Center for a fundraiser on April 26, 2025; the board voted to waive the fee and grant the request. Corcoran moved to waive the fee and Councilwoman Sessa seconded; the motion carried 4-0.
Corcoran also read a letter from the director of the nonprofit Daughters of Sarah requesting use of the Train Station for a tea-party fundraiser on May 10, 2025. Councilman Cauchi seconded Corcoran's motion to allow the use, and the board approved the request and waived the fee by unanimous vote.
