Board approves consent agenda, tables TNTP and Emergence Health Network MOUs

During the consent portion of the Sept. 16 special meeting, Trustee Lorenzo Luevano moved to table agenda items 4.G (TNTP MOU) and 4.I (Emergence Health Network MOU); Trustee Monica Chavez seconded the motion and it passed unanimously (7–0). The board then approved the remaining consent-items motion by a 7–0 vote.
Items included in the approved consent agenda were financial reports (tax report, financial statements, investment report), acceptance of certified values, approval of Senate Bill 12 resolution, TASB renewal for risk management insurance, approval of an AOPA high school STEM curriculum teacher addendum, an interlocal agreement with El Paso Community College regarding Early College, Fort Bliss Partnership Program MOU, revisions to student outcome goals and the 2025–2026 board monitoring calendar, district and campus improvement plans, disposal of surplus property, and approval of August meeting minutes.
