During the public-comment portion of the April 13 meeting, resident Mike Lawrence asked why a board member who had moved continued to attend meetings and appeared in closed session on multiple occasions. "We had a board member up here that moved and didn’t say anything about it... Apparently one closed session and three meetings, is anything being done about any of this?" Lawrence asked.
Mayor Tony Pezze responded that the board had reviewed the minutes and that the member's votes had not been deciding votes: "Anything that she had voted on was a majority vote anyway, she wasn’t a breaking vote one way or another." The board did not record a formal complaint, investigation or corrective action at the meeting; the matter was discussed briefly during public comment only.
