Following a closed session to consider personnel matters, the Village of Kincaid board returned to open session and recorded several personnel actions. Trustee Nelson moved that Cassandra not receive a raise at this time but be scheduled for a six-month evaluation to consider a future raise; the motion was seconded by Oller and passed (Denise Yes; David Yes; Kip Yes; Gina Yes; Sue Yes; Dees abstain).
The board then approved an immediate wage increase for Jayme from $20 to $21 per hour (motion by Nelson; seconded by Watson) and approved increasing Beverly's pay rate to $21 per hour (motion by Nelson; seconded by Watson). Trustees also voted to resume regular six-month employee evaluations in October and April each year; Paso moved the change and Evans seconded. The meeting adjourned shortly afterward.
