Board President Jimmie Alaniz called a special Sinton ISD Board of Trustees meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Sept. 18 at the administration building, 322 S. Archer, Sinton. The minutes record a quorum with trustees Jimmie Alaniz, Sam P. Lankford, Israel Ethan Garza, Thomas Bowers, Richard Gingrich and Danny Lorberau present; Board Secretary Crystal Saldaña was listed as not in attendance. Superintendent Dr. Andy Reddock was present.
The board immediately moved into a closed executive session at 6:01 p.m. citing Texas Government Code provisions for attorney consultation (551.071 and 551.129), personnel matters (551.074) and personally identifiable student information (551.0821). The board reconvened at 6:43 p.m., recorded a motion "to support the Level II decision," and adjourned at 6:44 p.m. The meeting minutes do not provide additional details on the Level II matter or any further administrative direction.
