At the start of the June 17 special meeting the council approved the agenda and then voted to approve the consent calendar after amending it to continue item 3.6 to the next meeting so Miss Ola Mae Augman could be present for a proclamation. A council member made the motion to pull 3.6 for continuation and the motion to approve the consent calendar with that amendment passed on a voice vote.
Council did not debate the other consent items at length on the record during the special meeting. The continuation of 3.6 was requested to ensure the intended honoree can attend the ceremonial proclamation in person.
