The Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda at the May 20 meeting, which included approval of the April 15 regular meeting minutes and special meeting minutes from May 6 and May 14, and multiple overnight student trips for the 2024–2025 school year. Among the approved trips were Southwest High School outings to Kerrville and Fort Worth, an overnight to Nashville, TX and Southwest High School/NJROTC travel to Kingsville; several cheer and dance overnight trips to San Marcos and Austin were also approved.
Trustee James Sullivan moved to approve the consent agenda and Trustee Daniel Carrillo seconded; the minutes record that all members present voted in favor and the motion carried. The consent agenda also included reports on purchasing cooperatives, amendments to the 2025–2026 stipend list, a low attendance waiver application, and a local board policy update (FDA LOCAL).
