Los Osos CSD names Eric Bridal assistant general manager; Sunnyside acquisition work continues

The district’s general manager announced the selection of Eric Bridal as assistant general manager and district engineer. "His name is Eric Bridal. He's a licensed professional engineer, comes with over 20 years experience in public works and engineering," the general manager said, and added Bridal is expected to begin work on Aug. 17.
On Sunnyside, staff are evaluating alternative financing to acquire the site and continue due diligence while keeping a lease option available. The GM said the Parks & Rec advisory committee nominated two individuals to a Sunnyside master-planning steering committee and that he plans to bring formal nominations to the board when ready. The board discussed outreach and the GM said he will solicit volunteers with expertise in relevant fields such as engineering, landscape architecture and property management.
