Commissioners extend Violence Elimination Council agreement for one year

Commissioner Bill Sarkella moved to approve FA185-22 and said, “Sanilac County Board of Commissioners hereby approves extending the agreement between Sanilac County and [the] Violence Elimination Council by 1 year with funding from the Safe Partnership millage and further authorizes the board chairman sign the necessary agreement.” Commissioner Christine Lee seconded and the motion carried by voice vote.
The agreement extension was approved without discussion during the board’s Nov. 18 session. The board chair was authorized to sign the renewal; the record shows no conditions or amendments attached to the authorization.
