Board approves support-staff pay increases, endorses 4% recommendation

The board approved support-staff compensation for SY 25-26 following Superintendent Dr. Wise's recommendation of a 4% increase for non-union employees. Dr. Wise also said employees at the low end of the pay scale would receive increases greater than 4% to bring wages closer to area averages.
The motion, made by Brian Liedtke and seconded by Tiffany Watson, passed 7-0. Administration said the changes will be reflected in the FY 25-26 budget and informed the board that adjustments are supported by internal budget realignments and grant reallocations where applicable.
