Administrator Dale Heidbreder told the Board the district "is currently operating with a deficit in the current fiscal year." Heidbreder told the Board the district expects two state receipts that are not included in this year's revenue figures: a payment of $128,787.88 scheduled for June 15, 2025, and a Special Education Private Facility Grant payment of $45,035.34 expected June 20, 2025. He also reported several new students required out-of-district placements, producing approximately $225,000 in additional special-education tuition expenses above the $400,000 originally budgeted.
