Assessor John Killeen said "New Sales volume is on track with last year. Prices continue to hold steady, still showing a small increase in Chemung Township." He reported there are "4 new homes under construction and one of which is outside of city limits."
Killeen told the board his office is organizing new-construction records and preparing neighborhood assessments in advance of applying the Equalizer factor for 2026, which he said he expects "end of March or first of April." He reminded residents that exemption applications for 2026 are available online and through the assessor's office.
