Center Cass SD 66 board presents amended FY25 budget, cites referendum revenue

The Center Cass SD 66 Board of Education convened a Budget Hearing at Prairieview Elementary School on June 18, 2025. Board President Brian Liedtke called the hearing to order at 6:22 p.m.; Superintendent Dr. Wise told the board the FY25 Amended Budget had been on public display for 30 days and that the amendments "centered on the additional revenue collected to do the work outlined in the referendum, as well as expenses incurred to do the aforementioned work."
The board presented the amended budget contained in the boardbook for public review. No members of the public offered comment. At the close of the hearing, Board member Doug Wiley moved to adjourn; Adam Sage seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously (Yea: Steve Dlugo; Megan DuPass; Brian Liedtke; Adam Sage; Darren Spiegel; Tiffany Watson; Doug Wiley), and the Budget Hearing was adjourned at 6:29 p.m.
