Housing Director Hannelore Dysinger told the Board that one client withdrew an application after a required federal lead inspection revealed issues and added costs; she emphasized that the lead inspection requirement is federal. Dysinger said she is awaiting estimates for an emergency roof repair resulting from storm damage and that funds for emergency repairs are still available.
Dysinger said she will meet with a past client regarding a contract and anticipated that a write-off may be required; she committed to returning to the Board with additional information about that situation. Her remarks were part of the department reports during the April 24 meeting.
