Cherry Valley board accepts clean audit for fiscal year ending April 30, 2025

Ms. Sydney Marks of the accounting firm Lauterbach & Amen, LLP presented the audit and said, "The Village of Cherry Valley received a clean audit report." Trustee Mike Neville moved to accept and place the report on file; the motion passed on a 6-0 roll call. Marks thanked Treasurer Maureen Gumowski and village staff for their work during the audit process.
The unanimous vote formally places the audit in the village records and directs staff to continue any follow-up review items identified by the auditors. No additional financial actions were taken at the meeting.
