Board agrees to pursue declassification of Monet Lane after state inquiry

"If you look at the pictures that I took of where that road is supposed to be, there's clearly no road. The bridge has been [removed] and there's no bridge," staff said, recommending the town pursue formal declassification or discontinuance to avoid future legal headaches and to align mileage records.
Board members noted the work will require staff time, site visits and attorney involvement but thought the likely cost would be minimal and that the town has coordinated with neighboring towns on similar matters in the past. The board agreed to proceed, taking one road at a time and returning with a plan for the declassification process.
