At the July 23 meeting the board voted to enter executive session under Idaho Code 74-206(1)(b) "to consider the evaluation, dismissal of or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member, or individual agent." Minutes record the statutory citation but do not disclose the substance of discussion, consistent with the law.
Separately, under information items the board announced upcoming trustee elections: the filing window for seats held by Lon Harrington, Josh Sorensen and Toni Ibarra opens Aug. 18 and runs through Aug. 29; the election is scheduled for Nov. 4. Trustees also noted the annual ISBA conference Nov. 12–14 in Coeur d'Alene (SEGS 010, 017).
