The Snake River School Board on May 21 approved a six-year subscription to HMH’s "Into Reading, V3 K–5" ELA curriculum for $198,085.26. The district will pay $100,000 on or before May 30, 2025, and the remaining $98,085.26 on or before Aug. 15, 2025. The board noted the curriculum is on the State-approved list and combines digital content with physical workbooks.
Board minutes state that training for staff will begin over the summer and continue at a teacher in-service on Aug. 5. The acquisition followed a recommendation from the district’s ELA curriculum adoption committee; the minutes record the committee’s recommendation but do not name committee members. The board vote to approve the purchase was unanimous.
