Council keeps $25 bonfire permit fee, sets enforcement expectations for beach bonfires

The council also noted that garbage cans will not be placed at beach stops this year except during holiday weekends and urged permit holders to take trash home. Cassidy said the new fire rings are installed and that bonfire permits are available for a $25 fee.
"Bonfires are permitted only within designated fire rings," according to the meeting record. Council asked staff to include reminder language in the next village newsletter outlining permit-holder expectations and responsibilities.
