Council allows New Buffalo High School to place pickleball fundraiser signs

Kurt Raducha, athletic director at New Buffalo High School, asked the Village Council for permission to place a couple of pickleball fundraiser signs on the court fence to promote a community tournament scheduled for Aug. 29–30. The council granted the request and expressed support for the event.
Raducha told council members that “proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the New Buffalo High School World Travel Club for the students.” The council’s approval included no further conditions; Tim McCarthy moved the item up on the agenda and the request was accepted during the meeting.
