The Cottonwood County Board of Commissioners on April 7, 2026, adopted Resolution 26‑04‑07B to enter a Cooperative Construction Agreement (MnDOT Contract No. 1061440) for replacement of the traffic signal at the intersection of Trunk Highway 60 and CSAH 17 in Windom. Interim County Engineer Stephen Schnieder told the board the county’s estimated share of the project is $134,404.81; the board approved the agreement by unanimous roll call vote.
Schnieder said MnDOT is replacing the signal and the agreement formalizes the county’s funding share and responsibilities. The resolution and contract are on file in the County Coordinator’s office for public record. County staff will proceed with coordination with MnDOT per the terms of the contract.
