County approves Short Elliott Hendrickson contract for landfill monitoring up to $49,900

Assistant County Engineer and Solid Waste Administrator Kyle Pillatzki presented a Professional Services Agreement with Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. (SEH) for monitoring services at the Cottonwood County landfill. Pillatzki said the county has used SEH previously and recommended continuing with them because of their familiarity with the facility.
The board approved the Professional Services Agreement for 2026 landfill monitoring services in an amount not to exceed $49,900 and authorized the Solid Waste Administrator to sign. The motion recorded in the minutes was: "Motion by Gravley, second by Stevens, unanimous vote to approve the Professional Services Agreement with Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. for 2026 Cottonwood County Landfill Monitoring Services in an amount not to exceed $49,900 and allow the Solid Waste Administrator to sign."
