County hires Building and Grounds worker, promotes jailer/dispatcher and advertises seasonal Public Works roles

County Coordinator Kelly Thongvivong reported that interviews were held for a full-time Buildings and Grounds Worker and recommended hiring Anthony Fauglid. The board approved hiring Fauglid as full-time Building and Grounds Worker on Range 9, Step 6 at $28.29 per hour, effective March 9, 2026.
Thongvivong reported that the Fauglid hire created a vacancy in a part-time Jailer/Dispatcher position and recommended internally transferring James Rosenkranz to the full-time Jailer/Dispatcher position at the same pay rate, effective March 9, 2026; the board approved the transfer. The board also authorized advertising for seven seasonal positions in the Public Works Department for summer 2026 and advertising for a part-time landfill scale operator.
