County approves easement, then sells four tax‑forfeited parcels in Ann Township to MN DNR
Summary
The board approved an ingress/egress easement for landowners adjacent to parcels the MN DNR is acquiring to add to Hurricane Lake WMA, and adopted Resolution 26-02-17B to sell Lots 1–4 in Section 36 of Ann Township to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
Auditor/Treasurer Carolyn Rempel asked the board to approve an ingress/egress easement to allow landowners south of the parcels to access property being purchased by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for addition to Hurricane Lake WMA. The board approved the easement.
Rempel also presented a resolution to sell Lots 1, 2, 3 (Parcel 03.036.0300) and 4 (Parcel 03.036.0400, 03.036.0500) in Section 36 of Ann Township to the MN DNR. The board adopted Resolution 26-02-17B (motion by Kevin Stevens; second by Wayne Maras), and the resolution is on file in the County Coordinator’s office.
