Board approves consent agenda including personnel changes and SROHS student trips
Summary

At the Aug. 20 meeting the Snake River Board approved the consent agenda, which included routine minutes, personnel actions and financial reports, and two school trip requests.
The consent package listed the minutes of the July 23 meeting; resigned staff (including Cassidy McLaughlin, SROHS teacher); new hires for certificated and para positions; payroll-status changes for three employees; budget and reconciliation reports; and an alternative authorization request for Kaeley Dayley to teach at SRO K–8 while completing certificate requirements. Principal Scott Corgatelli requested approval for two SROHS trips: a leadership conference at Camp Taylor in Pocatello (Sept. 3–5) for about 15 students and a Boise trip on Sept. 11 for about 40 students to observe a legislature meeting and participate in a mock bill activity followed by Wahooz Fun Center. The board approved the consent agenda by a 4–0 vote (motion by Larin Mortimer; second by Carol Hepworth).
