The Committee on Housing voted unanimously Feb. 10 to report Stacy Birnbach’s nomination to the Housing Production Trust Fund (HPTF) board to the full council. Chair Robert White moved the committee print and report for PR 20-6477 and the motion passed by voice vote.
White described Birnbach as having more than 20 years of experience in housing finance and development and said she serves as vice president of real estate development at Enterprise Community Development, overseeing a pipeline White characterized as more than $400,000,000 and 1,400 homes. White said Birnbach stressed the urgency of preservation as properties exit affordability restrictions and pledged to leverage her experience to keep the trust fund effective. Council member Matt Fruman reiterated support for the slate.
