Milford prepares Town Barn repairs, places bid notices for contractors

Highway Superintendent Billy Sutphin told the Board the Town contracted a structural engineering firm to develop repair plans for the Town Barn. William Craft Construction is assisting with coordination of contractors for the repair work.
Town Clerk Jill Preece said bid notices have been prepared for two Town Barn repair projects. On a motion by Council Member Velasco, seconded by Council Member Thorsland, the Board agreed to place the bid notices in the paper; the motion passed with all ayes.
Supervisor Austin Partridge said the salt‑shed project is on hold because of Town Barn issues and further discussion of land sales (Oxbow Road) was tabled until the August meeting.
