The Committee on Housing voted unanimously Feb. 10 to report Patrick McEnany’s nomination to the Housing Production Trust Fund (HPTF) board to the full council. Chair Robert White moved the committee print and report for PR 26-459 and the motion passed by voice vote.
White described McEnany as development director at Somerce Development Company with experience managing projects totaling 867 apartments and $222,000,000 in financing and said McEnany emphasized restoring a predictable process for the trust fund and pursuing regulatory and zoning reforms to lower per-unit costs. Council member Matt Fruman voiced support for the nominees.
