White described Glaude as a seasoned leader with more than 35 years of experience in housing policy and advocacy and identified his leadership at Coalition DC (formerly CNHED), including work that helped secure $1,000,000,000 for the trust fund. White said that at the roundtable Glaude called for flexibility in how trust fund dollars are used to meet changing needs. Council member Matt Fruman expressed support for the slate of nominees.
