After discussion about representing the district's interests and spreading votes, the board allocated 1,051 votes to Tammy Dugat and 1,050 votes to Brenda Gonzalez to fill five RCAD directorships for two-year terms. The motion to allocate votes was made by Scott Chisum and seconded by Jayme Wooten and passed unanimously, 5–0.
