Millerton trustees appoint new Planning Board and ZBA members

At the Nov. 10 meeting the board appointed new members to the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals and approved terms. Appointments recorded in the minutes: Keven Webb (Planning Board, 11/2025–6/2030), Brendan Robustelli (11/2025–6/2028), Ata Secilmis (alternate, 11/25–6/26); and for the Zoning Board of Appeals, Grace Caddell (11/2025–6/2030), Kathleen Spahn (11/2025–11/2027), and Ed Stillman (alternate, 11/2025–6/2026). Deputy Mayor Matt Hartzog moved to appoint the members; Trustee David Sherman seconded and the board approved the slate 4–0.
Mayor Jenn Najdek opened a discussion about the possibility of abolishing the Planning Board and transferring its functions to the ZBA, asking trustees to review the idea and related implementation material (noted as "PACE law" in the minutes) before the next meeting. A public commenter (Kathy/Cathy Fenn) suggested additional training for board members.
