Board approves tax-abatement resolutions for bond debt service and Harbor Freight Tools property

During the Dec. 16 meeting the board approved a resolution to abate the tax levied for 2025 to pay debt service on the district’s General Obligation Lease Obligations (Alternate Revenue Source), Series 2016; Series 2017; and Series 2017A. Mr. Matenaer moved the resolution and the board approved it by roll call vote, 6-0.
The board also approved a separate resolution authorizing tax abatement for Harbor Freight Tools property. Mrs. Matenaer moved the Harbor Freight resolution and the motion passed by roll call vote, 6-0. The minutes do not include the dollar amounts abated or the county property-tax calculations; they record only the board’s formal approvals.
