Planning board continues Windy City Kustoms automotive-repair special-use hearing to March 25

The Planning and Zoning Board of Appeals postponed consideration of a special-use request from Windy City Kustoms LLC to operate an automotive minor repair shop at 17406 Burnham Avenue.
Village Planner Maura Rigoni said staff received additional information after the initial review and asked the board to continue the public hearing so staff could review the new materials. "There was some additional information submitted. Therefore, we would need to go over the additional information and request a motion to approve a continuance," the planner said.
Commissioner Robinette moved to continue the public hearing to March 25, 2026; Commissioner Kasper seconded. The board approved the continuance on an 8-0 roll call. No substantive testimony on the merits of the application was recorded at the Feb. 25 meeting; the item will be placed on the March 25 agenda for further review.
