Trustees approve grants manager addendum and authorize Tree Committee plans to pursue tree-inventory grant

Mayor Jenn Najdek asked for approval to sign an addendum to the Grants Manager grant from Foundations of Community Health and to purchase a laptop for the Grants Manager, with the laptop to transfer to the Recreation Department when the position is no longer needed. Trustee Matt Soleau moved and Deputy Mayor Matt Hartzog seconded signing the grant amendment; the motion passed unanimously.
Deputy Mayor Hartzog also noted that Tree Committee members will need formal appointment and that the committee intends to apply for a grant to conduct a tree inventory. Trustees did not record a vote on Tree Committee appointments during this meeting but noted plans to pursue grant funding for an inventory.
