Greg Morse, joining online, updated the council on Blackfoot Crossing, saying a precast concrete business — Bridger Precast — is operating on the site and employing a couple of dozen people.
"They do manufacture concrete products including... all the kinds of things that people would use for a septic system or... building a subdivision," Morse said, adding he has contact information and can make introductions for residents with questions. Morse told the council the project’s wastewater plant and well approvals are in place; he said progress is slow on zoning and technical evaluation discussions with the county but that a meeting with county staff was scheduled for the coming Wednesday.
Council members asked clarifying questions; Morse offered to connect residents with the business if they wanted to follow up. No formal action was taken by the council on this item.
