Board approves Assured Healthcare contract for substitute nursing; members seek clarification on caps

"The expectation is that it is for the short term. This is an agency that we only use for sub nurses as needed, but it but it was written for that max in the event that something would be for a full year, which we do not anticipate happening at all," Phil said. Board members asked for follow-up information and were told staff would include additional details in the weekly update and follow up with the board member directly.
The motion passed by roll call. The transcript does not include a detailed line-item budget for the contract; staff committed to providing more background to the asking member.
