Dr. Montgomery reported that roughly $14,000,000 worth of construction work occurred over the summer and described the scale of activity on campus, including exterior work and substantial interior renovations in world language classrooms, robotics/CAD labs, special education spaces and science labs.
“You will see, if you've driven by the campus, you can see the work on the exterior,” he said, and noted the district is hosting the Capital Project Advisory Committee for a walkthrough and has released episode 13 of an 'Under the Hard Hat' video series to highlight progress. The board invited members and community guests to view the work on a scheduled tour.
Administrators said hundreds of tradespeople worked on the project across a condensed schedule. No formal action was taken; presentations and the advisory committee tour are intended to keep the community informed as work continues.
