Supervisor reports: Crest grant sent to DASNY; FEMA and grant applications in progress

He said Crest grant materials provided by DASNY have been submitted and that he will solicit contractor quotes on company letterhead. Niles listed FEMA PDA project numbers for ongoing work, including 810119 (Mill Road), 812463 (town-wide road and shoulder washouts), 810128 (roads and culverts washout), and Category A Project 959124 (Alburg/Elmer Road emergency repairs).
Niles also confirmed submission of the 2026 Youth Bureau funding application on Sept. 5, 2025, said he is exploring CDBG funding in partnership with Brushton-Moira Senior Citizen’s, Inc. for improvements to the B.M.B.B. Adult Center, and stated intent to apply for the JCAP FY2026 grant (up to $30,000) with Town Justice Court staff. No board questions were recorded; the Supervisor's report was filed in the Town Clerk's office.
