Board approves consent agenda; FOIA status and community events announced

The board approved the consent agenda (items 1–8), provided a status update on several FOIA requests, confirmed community events (Grateful Market on Oct. 19 at the high school, joint board coffee Oct. 21, varsity field movie night Oct. 25) and adjourned.
The Lake Forest CHSD 115 Board unanimously approved the consent agenda (items 1–8) by motion and roll-call vote during the Oct. 14 meeting.
Chair also reported the status of several Freedom of Information Act requests (examples: Jeff Brinkett 1 of 2 completed; Jeanie Jordan 1 of 1 completed; Frank McCormick 3 of 4 completed). The board moved through announcements: the Grateful Market will be held Sunday, Oct. 19 at 9 a.m. at the high school (a scheduling change from a prior location), the joint board–community coffee is Oct. 21 at the Gorton Center, parent–teacher conferences are Oct. 24 (no school for students), and the varsity field movie night is Oct. 25 at 5 p.m. The next board meeting is scheduled for Nov. 11 with committee meeting times and topics noted.
After announcements the chair moved to adjourn; the motion was seconded and the meeting was adjourned by voice vote.
