Superintendent previews possible True North Educational Cooperative reorganization
Summary
Dr. Montgomery said the cooperative is considering articles of agreement to reorganize governance; if approved the change would create an executive committee and may reduce True North staffing by roughly 0.5 FTE, with implementation targeting January (subject to two readings and approvals).

Dr. Montgomery briefed the board on a proposed reorganization of the True North Educational Cooperative, saying the matter will be considered through a two-reading process at the cooperative and could put a new executive committee in place.
"Tomorrow night, Amy and I have the pleasure of going to a True North meeting, where we will be, asking the council to look at new articles of agreement," Dr. Montgomery said. He explained the reorganization would require two readings and, if approved, could take effect in January. He cautioned the change is likely to come at the cost of about 0.5 full-time-equivalent staff at True North, and staff-model changes would be discussed in spring with implementation not before July 1 of the next school year.
Board members acknowledged potential staffing impacts and asked for follow-up as the cooperative advances the formal readings; the board did not vote on the reorganization at this meeting.
