District staff previews report card, stresses attendance and climate survey participation

"Chronic absenteeism is still a big part of our final summative rating," Erin said, explaining that attendance, climate-survey participation, proficiency in core subjects, ninth-grade on-track and graduation rate all contribute to the district's summative rating. She said the district has seen preliminary results and will share precise details after the official release.
Board members and administrators framed the update as informational; staff will return next month with the detailed report-card metrics and breakdowns for each category.
