At the Oct. 14 board meeting Dr. Montgomery told the Lake Forest CHSD 115 Board that a community satisfaction survey run through Sept. 24 reached 300 adults and yielded three early takeaways to guide district planning.
"There were 300 adults that were surveyed with a 5.65% confidence interval of 95%," Dr. Montgomery said, and summarized that about 65% of respondents rated the return on their tax investment as excellent or good, 67% rated the quality of education excellent or good, and 75% rated district safety excellent or good. He said the district will continue detailed analysis and share a fuller picture when available.
Board discussion did not result in new policy action at the meeting; the superintendent said the survey results will help align planning and decision-making with community feedback and will inform presentations at upcoming meetings.
