During the March 9 meeting the board reviewed multiple ordinance drafts, including a stormwater ordinance prepared by Fehr Graham, a proposed right-of-way ordinance, and both commercial and residential demolition ordinance drafts. Attorney Tom Green explained that adopting the stormwater language will require an ordinance amending the village code and that the village office will continue revisions before a final vote.
Trustees agreed to prioritize finalizing the commercial and residential demolition ordinances. The minutes state that demolition permit requirements will be defined and included with the permit application when the ordinances are completed. No final approvals or ordinance numbers were recorded at the meeting.
