Montour appoints Jessica Ryan as town assessor for six-year term

The board adopted Resolution #37 to appoint Jessica Ryan as the Town of Montour assessor, with the term beginning Oct. 1, 2025 and ending Sept. 30, 2031. Councilperson Robert Simpson moved the resolution and Councilperson Donna Taber seconded it; the motion passed 5–0.
Assessor Jessica Ryan earlier told the board that the town "is right where it needs to be with our assessments after the re-vale done last year," and she reminded members that the appointment paperwork is due by the end of September. The appointment puts the assessor role on a six-year term consistent with local practice.
