The Town Board approved a resolution to provide $1,000 from ROOST funds to Sleeping Giant Seniors for tourism trips. Supervisor Stephen McNally moved the resolution and it carried 4-0 by roll call (Motion #287). Joy Healy, speaking during public comment, thanked the board for the extra funding.
In his supervisor's report McNally said Steve Colletti of It's about Thyme is offering 90 turkey dinners for distribution on Nov. 26 and that he met with Emily Kelly from ChargePoint about grants for an EV charge station. McNally also reported that Roost currently has a balance of $106K and that a group of mothers proposes a weekly Storytime at the community center; he indicated funding for the gym is in place.
