Levelland Council Approves 7.5% Raise for City Manager After Evaluation

After returning from executive session on Oct. 20, the Levelland City Council voted to approve the City Manager evaluation and a 7.5% salary increase. The motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Michael Stueart, seconded by Council Member Max Ledesma, and carried unanimously.
The motion record notes that James Fisher was not evaluated in the prior year. Council took the action in open session following deliberations in executive session under Texas Government Code §551.074 (personnel). The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m. after the vote.
