Levelland City Council on Oct. 20 approved payment application #9 from AMERESCO in the amount of $89,948.18 to cover work on the city’s water meter project under the contract the council approved in October 2024. Jaime McCabe moved the payment and Max Ledesma seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
The payment is the ninth application submitted under the AMERESCO contract. Council took the vote during its regular meeting after a brief recess and reconvening at 6:30 p.m. City staff presented the application as part of routine project billing and progress updates. The approval keeps the meter-replacement work on schedule and reflects the council’s routine contract oversight.
"To approve a payment request from AMERSCO in the amount of $89,948.18 for the water meter project pursuant to the contract approved between the City and AMERSCO in October 2024," the minutes record as the motion. The council recorded the action as unanimous.
